For our Senior Project, we decided to give the Asian American population at Wellesley High School a platform to share their voice. With NBC Asian America serving as inspiration, we’ve interviewed around 60 students to create 9 videos that cover different aspects of the Asian American Experience. These videos are about: Stereotypes, Microaggression, Representation at WHS, Representation in the Media, Intelligence and Success, the Model Minority Myth, the Biracial/Adoption Experience, the Faculty Experience, and the Immigrant Experience. We hope this project will raise awareness about the experience and struggles of the Asian community.
